"Civilization 7" is a strategy game and the latest work in the Civilization series. Civilization VII simplifies the way to obtain resources. There are the following three avenues for acquiring resources: development events, trade routes, and city-states.
Method of resource acquisition
First, Civilization VII simplifies access to resources. There are the following three ways to obtain resources:
Development Event: As your settlement expands due to population growth, selecting the plot with a resource automatically builds an improvement facility that acquires that resource.
Trade Routes: Sending merchant units to nearby settlements will establish a trade route, allowing you to obtain the corresponding number of resources produced locally.
City-states: In every era, some city-states possess characteristic resources that must be acquired by becoming their suzerains.
From a practical perspective, this means that if you want to obtain a specific resource, just find it on the map. Thereafter, you can develop settlements or send merchants to establish trade routes to obtain that resource.
