Spirit is a resource in Path of Exile 2 used to apply buffs and auras to your character, and summon minions.
Spirit functions a little differently than your life and mana as, once spirit is used, it is taken away from the pool — similar to buffs reserving mana in Path of Exile. In order to use multiple buffs and auras, you’ll need to get more spirit.
Luckily, there are a few guaranteed ways to get more spirit in Path of Exile 2 — here’s how.
How to get spirit in Path of Exile 2
There are two methods of gaining spirit in Path of Exile 2 — items and progression.
How to get spirit from items
There are a couple item types that will provide you with extra spirit, such as the sceptre and the solar amulet.
Sceptres provide a base amount of 100 spirit and solar amulets provide 10 - 15 spirit, but these amounts may vary depending on their modifiers. Uniques may also give spirit, but that introduces another problem where you must find a unique item. You can either pray to the Path of Exile gods or try out the more surefire method — trading.
How to get spirit from progression
There are three points in Path of Exile 2, one in each Act, where you can gain 30 spirit:
* Defeating King of the Mists in Freythorn (Act 1)
* Finding the Golden Tomb in The Lost City (Act 2)
* Defeating Ignagduk, the Bog Witch in The Azak Bog (Act 3)
Once completed, a consumable that increases your spirit by 30 will drop onto the ground, so make sure to pick it up!
